Now that your writing retreat is on the Writing Retreat Directory you want to make sure it stands out. You also want writers to be able to easily find your writing retreat.
In this learning session, Lisa Shaughnessy shows you how to optimize the location, short description, and long description fields in your writing retreat listings to make it shine and attract the writers you're looking for.
Best Practice Tip: When adding a location for your writing retreat listing choose a name that tells people exactly where it is to help them find it more easily. For example, use Washington, DC instead of the name of your retreat or the name of the venue. If you do use the venue when naming your location add the town or city name along with it.
