Subscription Plans

Q: How can I upgrade to another subscription plan?

A: You can upgrade at any time by logging into your account and selecting UPGRADE MY SUBSCRIPTION in the side bar.


Q: Do you offer refunds for the subscription plans?

A: No. Due to the nature of this advertising and promotion service, no refunds will be granted. Please make sure you have selected the right subscription level for you. See our Terms and Conditions for more details. If you are having issues, we want to work with you to resolve them. Please submit a support ticket and someone will respond within two business days, U.S. East Coast time.


Q: Why isn't a no-commitment month to month option available for the Standard and Premium plans?

A: Promised features and benefits for the Standard and Premium plans can only be met during a 3- or 6-month period respectively. If you're not ready to commit for those time frames, the lifetime free Basic plan is available.


Q: I want to use the Premium plan, but can't afford one lump payment. Do you offer payment installments for the Premium plan?

A: Yes, you can pay for the Premium plan in 2 payments. The total price is the same whether you pay all at once or in installments. The payment plan will be available as an option after you've selected the Premium Plan Get Started button on the Promote Your Retreat page.


Q: How is the Writing Retreat Directory different from other retreat directories?

A: We don't just post your writing retreat and forget about you. We promote your retreat on social media, in our newsletters, and on our website, depending on the plan you choose. We also have resources and an online community just for writing retreat hosts.



General Questions


Q: How do I reset my password?

A: You can reset your password by logging into your account and selecting UPDATE ACCOUNT/PASSWORD from the side bar.


Q: Can guests book a spot in my writing retreat directly from WritingRetreatDirectory.com?

A: Not at this time. We have it on the list as a future feature.


Q: Does this site charge a commission fee to list my writing retreat?

A: No. Our pricing is solely based on the subscription plan you choose for your listing(s) to be active in the Writing Retreat Directory. Other sites may charge a fee for every guest who signs up for your retreat. We like to keep it simple with a one-time purchase or month to month options so more money stays in your pocket.


Q: How can I contact WritingRetreatDirectory.com for questions or support?

A: If you are having issues with your listing, or have a question, please use our Support Center and Knowledge Base for helpful articles and videos. If you're still having trouble, you can submit a support ticket as well.


Q: Are you a U.S. based business?

A: Yes. The Writing Retreat Directory and our parent company, Retreat Directory Solutions LLC, are located in Springfield, Virginia.
